Wide belt and rotary brush machines cover the whole flat-part finishing job, but the right head and process depend on what your parts need. Choose the path that matches the work: deburring to knock off burrs, finishing for a consistent surface, edge conditioning to break and radius sharp edges, heavy slag removal for plasma and oxy-cut plate, laser oxide removal to clean laser-cut edges, or precision grinding to hit a calibrated thickness. Deburring, finishing, and edge conditioning are the everyday jobs almost every wide belt or rotary brush machine handles: pull flat parts through, take off the burrs, level the surface, and break the sharp edges in one pass.
Heavy slag removal, laser oxide removal, and precision grinding are the specialized jobs. Slag grinders and hammerhead heads strip dross off plasma-cut plate, brush heads clean the oxide skin off laser-cut parts, and calibrated grinding holds a precise thickness. Match the head to the process and one machine can cover several of these.
