Precision grinding uses a calibrated abrasive belt to take a controlled amount of material off the whole surface and hold a tight tolerance across the part and across the run. How to Choose
For calibrated thickness work, a heavy wet machine with motorized thickness control and a digital readout holds the result run after run. The 41 Series PUMA and Trident are built for demanding, round-the-clock production where the dimension has to stay put.
For mixed materials, wet processing keeps parts cool so they do not warp as material comes off, which protects the tolerance. Tell us the thickness and tolerance you need and we will set the machine to hold it.
