Features

Built In

  • The spindle does the work, swinging and rotating the part through vibrating media so the media flows through every feature to deburr edges and blend surfaces.
  • Spindles position at angles, oscillate like a pendulum, and reverse mid-cycle, which reaches the complex geometry of disks, blades, blisks, and impellers.
  • PLC touchscreen control, automatic lubrication, a flowmeter, and interlocking safety doors come standard on the CFT.
  • Options add a compound dispensing system, hour meter, operator work platform, and tooling for your specific parts.

CFT Series

The Sutton Centri-Flo Tornado does the work through the spindle. The part rotates at high speed and at varied angles in a tub of vibrating media, and the spindle can sit at angles, swing through the media like a pendulum, and stop mid-cycle to reverse direction. That motion flows media and liquid through the part's features to deburr edges and blend surfaces on turbine disks, blades, blisks, and impellers.
